Deeper Life 10,000-bed capacity mega facility hospital is a propaganda

As claimed by some media outfits in Nigeria that Deeper Life Bible Church is having a 10,000-bed capacity mega facility hospital that can that can take care of over 35,000 impecunious people in a year, the news is fake and untrue.

Dailychat News Correspondent visited the 30,000-seater capacity auditorium newly built by Deeper Life Bible Ministries at Gbagada in Lagos on Sunday 6th of May, 2016, speaking to one of the security officers in Nigeria Police Force Identity, he made it known to Dailychat News that the news spreading across the media that Deeper Life has a mega hospital at Gbagada is a propaganda.

He also said that Doctors has also been visiting the Church to actually confirm if the claimed hospital is real.

The said hospital as claimed by a media outfit is said to be "biggest and best equipped hospital ever built in Africa and has Pediatrics, Psychiatry, General Out Patient, burns, Oncology and 15 other such departments, all stocked with the latest equipment necessary for such a world class facility."

The same news source reveals that, "the General Overseer, Pastor Kumuyi says it would employ thousands of Nigerian doctors and attendant health workers graduating from nation's many health institutions. He also hopes this would bring a halt to brain drain resulting from doctors jetting off abroad to find greener pastures, as well as billion-naira medical tourism the elite and politicians engage in monthly." All this are not true.

This is not the first time that some Media Outlets in Nigeria will be publishing some news that are not real and misleading, which is against the ethics of journalism. The Nigeria Union of Journalists need to do more in addressing issues like this, to protect Journalism in Nigeria.
