Nigeria Football Technical Director is Dead

The Nigeria Football was thrown into another mourning session three days after the death of Former Nigeria Super Eagles Coach and Player, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, as the death of the Nigeria Football Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu was announced.

According to report, the former coach was complaining of Chest Problems before his sudden death.

A Football top Official also said that Shuaibu Amodu is hypertensive and has been on medication.

Amodu died in his sleep in the city of Benin (same city where Keshi died) and the death was Officially announced by the Nigeria Football Federation on Saturday morning.

Amodu is a coach that Nigeria Football will never forget, he qualified Nigeria for the World Cup in 2002 and 2010. In 2002 World Cup Qualifier as a Coach, he was assisted by Stephen Okechukwu Keshi. He guided BCC Lion of Gboko to win the Africa cup Winners Cup in 1991. Shuaibu Amodu died at age 58.
