Zamalek Proves Supremacy over Enyimba in CAF Champions League

Five-time Champions, Zamalek of Egypt proved their supremacy over two-time Champions, Enyimba, with a 0-1 win in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, thanks to a 8th minutes goal from Egyptian Bassin Morsi through an assist from Mohammed Ibrahim.

Enyimba Players and Supporters entered into the game with high expectations, only to find out that Enyimba was behind the Egyptians after 90minutes of play with a one goal deficit.

In the first half, Enyimba missed two great chances that should have put them on the score sheet, Osadiaye with the miss on two occasions. Egyptian Basin Morsi header makes the difference in the first half. The two teams were offensive enough to show the attacking qualities of both sides.

The story remained the same in the second half as both teams were unable to find the back of the net. Zamalek now have three points from one game and Enyimba will now have to depend on other group matches left, to progress.

After 90minutes, Enyimba 0, Zamalek 1, in the CAF Champions League.
