World fastest man on track Usain Bolt for the third time clinch the Olympic gold medal following his victory in Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
After a tight competition between Jamaica's Usain Bolt and America's Justin Gatlin, the 100m world champion proved himself once again as he finishes in a time of 9.81s ahead of America's Justin Gatlin who finishes in a time of 9.89. Though the Jamaican never had a good start in the final but a good finish.
In Rio 2016 100m men final, Jamaica's Usain Bolt took first with a time of 9.81s to win the gold medal, United State of America's Justin Gatlin was second with a time of 9.89s to win the silver medal, while Canada's Andre De Grasses took third position with a time of 9.91s to win the bronze medal.
Moreover, Jamaica's Yohan Blake who entered into the race with high expectation could not win any medal and run in a time of 9.93s to take the forth position. South Africa's Akani Simbine took fifth position with a time of 9.94s. Ivory Coast's Ben Youssef Meite was placed sixth with a time of 9.96s. Highly rated Jimmy Vicaut of France took seventh position with a time of 10.04s ahead of Trayvon Bromell of United State of America who run in a time of 10.06s.
