    Rio 2016 Football: Nigeria to face Denmark in Quarter Final

    After a 2-0 defeat from Colombia, the Nigeria U23 side top group B and will now play Denmark in the quarter final of Rio 2016 Olympic Football Tournament.

    The Nigeria U23 team is seen as one of the prospects to win Rio 2016 Olympic Football gold after a wonderful display over Japan and Sweden in their first and second game.

    The Dream Team prospect of Sodiq Umar, Oghenekaro Etebo, and Imoh Ezekiel will hope to continue their fine runs as they face Denmark on Saturday.

    Olympic Top scorer Oghenekaro Etebo will hope to have a quick recovery from the injury he sustained against Colombia on Thursday night. His inability to recover from this injury will be a worry for coach Samson Siasia side, as Etebo is one of the key players in the team.

    Denmark came second in group A with four points and will also wish to prove their worth when they face Nigeria on Saturday.

    Nigeria versus Denmark will be played in Fonte Nova Arena (55,000 capacity stadium), Salvador on Saturday, 16:00 Local Time and 8:00PM Nigeria Time.
