    23 Prisoners dies in Ethiopia Prison

    A prison where anti government protesters were held in Ethiopia cut fire, at least 23 prisoners died as they they were trying to escape and some others died as a result of suffocation.

    In the incident, there are different people with different opinions, some says the inmates were shot by prison warders, social media photo upload shows smoke coming out of the prison, though in Ethiopia there has being protest in recent months.

    DIMN News was able to gather that, the fire outbreak could be a deliberate attempt to free inmates.

    Qilinto prison is known to be a remand prison where people awaiting trial are being kept. It is also one of most secured prisons in Ethiopia and moreover, the prison where political prisoners such as journalists, bloggers and activists are sent

    The Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Desalegn  blamed anti-peace forces for the incident.
