Popular Ketu Bus Stop
Above is the photo of refuse packed at Ketu Bus Stop, close to the pedestrian bridge at Ketu. The waste is packed at the junction that leads to Ikosi Road in Ketu.
This is to bring to the notice of the Ministry of Environment in Lagos State that the waste packed at Ketu Bus Stop in Ketu is good enough to cause another disease outbreak in that immediate environment, which could go a long way, as there was a report of cholera outbreak in Lagos recently.
DIMN News Correspondent visited the area where the waste that is believed to have been evacuated from the drainage that connects Ikosi Road to Ketu Bus Stop were dumped. It was observed that the waste has been packed at that point for at least two days.
Moreover, Lagos is a city, and popular place like Ketu Bus Stop should not be turn to a waste outlet. Also, it is not hygienic for those staying close to that environment. The Ministry of Environment should please do something fast about it.
