According to report, the traditional ruler was taken away from his palace at around 10:00 am on Tuesday by ten gunmen.
The kidnapping was confirmed by Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Femi Joseph.
Mr Joseph also confirmed that investigation is going on already to get to the root of the whole matter.

The gunmen enters into the town through Owena river, fully harmed and went straight into the king's palace and kidnapped the king as the palace guards could not overpower the ten gunmen.
