Samson Siasia names his 18-man squad for Olympics

Nigeria Dream Team VI head coach, Samson Siasia has released his final 18-man squad that will represent Nigeria in next month Olympics Game in Rio de janeiro, Brazil.

Report reaching DIMN Sports earlier confirmed John Obi Mikel and Daniel Akpeyi as the only over age players that will fly the country colour in Brazil. Chelsea Midfielder John Obi Mikel top the list which comprises two goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and four strikers.

THE FULL SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Daniel Akpeyi, Emmanuel Daniel.

Defenders: Muenfa Sincere, Kingsley Made, Abddulahi Shehu, Saturday Erimuyah, Williams Ekong, Ndifreke Udo, Stanley Amuzie.

Midfielders: Oghenekaro Etebo, John Obi Mikel, Popoola Saliu, Okechukwu Azubuike, Usman Mohammed.

Attackers: Aminu Umar, Imoh Ezekiel, Oluwafemi Ajayi and Sodiq Umar.

Coach: Samson Siasia.

The Dream Team VI will play their first game against Japan in Amazonia Arena, Manaus on the 4th of August, 2016 and Coach Samson Siasia will hope to move from his 2008 silver medal win to win the gold medal.
