Avengers again: Fresh attack on Chevron Pipelines

On Wednesday, Cheveron Nigeria Limited (CNL) suffered a fresh setback as three of its manifolds in Digbolo, close to Dibi in Warri North Local Government of Delta State were blown up by Niger Delta Avengers.

Report says, the incident occurred at around 11:00pm on Wednesday. Niger Delta Avengers claims responsibility of the attack. In their statement, "between the hours of 10:50pm to 11:00pm, our Niger Delta Avengers strike team blew up Chevron manifolds." The manifolds that were blown up are; "RMP 22, 23 and 24."

The group has also denied responsibility of the attack on NNPC pipeline in Eleme, Rivers State as posted on its Facebook account, the group is making it known to the general public that all its social media account has been deleted, any post on social media claiming to be Niger Delta Avengers page is fake.

The group however said, that Niger Delta Avengers closed down all its social media account so that the general public will not be deceived by fraudsters. The group further says that any other group should go about their own activities and not affiliating itself with Niger Delta Avengers (NDA).
